Once our day camps are running smoothly, we will begin planning for Blossoming Flower’s licenced land-based child care, targeting a start date of January 2026.

Like all our programs, an Indigenous worldview and the Forest School model will form the core of our pedagogical approach to early learning.

Our child care program will be primarily based outdoors, on the land, with access to indoor space when conditions dictate.

We will look for a site, or multiple sites, with walking access from indoor facilities to Edmonton’s river valley system. 

Ideally, we will have multiple locations across Edmonton making it easier for more families to access land-based infant, toddler and preschool age child care.
